    It would be robbing them blind, but if they don't want to pay tax, what do they do? They could use another PG and some salary cap relief.
    In any case they will likely have to choose between Varejao and Gooden if they don't want to pay tax.. Not exactly Sophie's choice, but still hurts...

    Billups can't sign a contract until July 11th.

    Cool, thanks for the info. Then Billups will officialy sign on the 11th. Regardless of the date he is signing with the Pistons.
