Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine Marc J. Spears @SpearsNBAYahoo Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA Hate to see this. Seems like with a few big guys now, it's when, not if they suffer an injury. Bogut, Varejao, Oden, Bynum, previously Yao.
Personally bad for Varejao but good for the Cavs because it means a higher draft choice. Maybe next season they can make a big jump.
What a shame, I hope its not for too long. He was making such an impact for the Cavs. Erden played pretty good during a stretch with the Celtics before he had shoulder surgery. He might get a shot now, hopefully he can find that form again.
Didn't Varejao go out a month before last year's trade deadline also? Why yes... yes he did. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=198832
I don't really think it's good for the Cavs. They probably could've gotten some pretty nice trade value for him from teams that need a big man.
Damn all my big men are injured on my fantasy team (Randolph, then Blatche, and Varejao). Unbelievable.
I think he just really likes playing for the Cavs. Avoids getting traded by getting injured before the deadline.
Now some of the meat heads in this forum (I won't name any names) can finally stop begging to trade for this loser. Oops! Spoke too soon.
C'mon, man! This isn't good for our Knicks pick and after all of the Rockets injuries with Yao and McGrady we ought to at least have some class by not wishing I'll of others.
