Looks like Orlando are taking advantage of the injuries to Arroyo and Nelson by shopping Diener who has been gunning it in summer league. He's had two 30 min outings so far in these pre-season matches.

    v Bobcats, 10pts / 6ast / 2to
    v Hornets, 14pts / 9ast / 4to

I dunno, the way Luther played in the 2nd-quater, the Rockets and JVG have their back-up PG.

He did everything you would ask of your back-up. He brought the ball up (even in some pressure), got the ball where it needed to be, he played good defense on the other team's PG and he hit open shots.

After this game, as far as I'm concerned, Spanoulis and Lucas are battling for who is the 3rd PG and who is on the inactive list.

Yea, I think you are right. I feel so much better now that he has played a preseason game.

I understand why you say he is a good slasher, but his turnover problem has always been there. We cant just expect it to go away by the ASB. His inability to knock down the wide open three is a serious flaw that will hurt our team. Once he remedies these flaws, I don't see why he wouldn't get significant minutes.

let's not forget that v-span is a 24year old rookie - so his learning curve should be steep or it will be a problem.

I don't think he'll crack the rotation anytime soon.

    v Spurs, 23pts / 7ast, 0to

Hawks game was an unopposed training run. Salim Stoudamire shared some point duties for the Rockets.

    That is impossible ;)
JVG said Head was only 6'1' exactly. I think he has the potential to be a excellent PG like Mike Bibby.

Speaking of Kill Bill, He is tough enough to be a SG and if his shooting skill was as good as Flash, he will be an outstanding playing 2.

Deiner is obviously on the block and being showcased. 44 minutes tonight in a preseason game. The kid can obviously shoot it. But he is probably one of the 5 worst defensive points in the game.

yeah, i think head is a great point coming off the bench - he's got poise, i like his offense too, he's been making good decisions. i'd like to see some more games like this but uh, for now, i think he's money.
