I see why JVG loves Yao setting those high screens, but I do disagree that we've abused the prescendents for the way it's called.

T-Mac's winning shot in game 2 was a moving screen, but the NBA is never going to call a foul with 3 seconds left unless there's something blatant. This wasn't. Yas was moving forward, T-Mac moved a split second too soon and Yao tried to get away from the collision, but that's been a non-call since before Malone and Stockton were ever in the league.

If Cuban's being honest :D, fine, call the moving pick and call everything else they should call when Yao tries to play aggressively.

The refs would have Yao in the shower within 10 mins if that happens. Refs hates Rocks, Yao and JVG with a passion right now. Yao would get a T if he looks at one ref for too long.

They already did. A news website says $100k has been the heaviest fine to a coach so far. Is that right? If yes, then it just proves what Van Gundy said was true.

Other news also suggested that on Monday Van Gundy insisted on what he said. He even said that the NBA told him not to say too much.

Well, I've witnessed many Black Whistle shows since I became an NBA fan 10 yrs ago. Kind of used to it.

The Chinese fans complains a lot. But I don't think it's enough to make those fat-a$$ Chinese government do anything, yet.

    Yet.

If I can get my hand on such video, I will personally make 100 copies and hand them out to people.

It's time for Chinese Media ban NBA. This league has totally lost its credit.

I don't necessarily think it's a conspiracy to assume that referees might be asked to look at certain players or plays differently, depending on the development they do as professionals (they DO get some kind of training, don't they??!!), rule changes, etc. It's not the attention they pay, though, but the calls they make that Van Gundy was addressing. From King Kaufman's column in Salon today (for anyone who does not subscribe)...

As a fan of the game (not just the Rox), I only want to see Yao get called fairly. We'd probably be up 3-1 right now if he hadn't been in foul trouble for much of the series.
