Trade for Nick "The Quick" Van Exel

I read an article at ESPN.com that reported Van Exel will retire next season if he doesn't sign with a Texas team. I think this is perfect. If he has already publicly said he will not play for the Warriors next season, then it would benefit the Warriors to look around Texas for a decent player or two. And they can't be that picky because Golden State knows that he would just leave them for nothing at the end of the season anyway. This would be perfect for the Rockets. Trade for Van Exel and move Steve to the 2 position.
I would package Mobley in with the trade. He is still relatively young, and he has played really well against the Warriors, so they have altleast seen what he can do. Plus his contract isnt that high. I say that Nachbar looks like he has more potential than Piatkowski. And obviously, Van Gundy sees something in Boki because he has been pushed ahead of Pike in the depth chart. So package like Mobley and/or Pike + cash/ trade exception to get Van Exel. He is only 32 so he has about 3 or 4 more good years left, and if he could do for us what he did for Dallas, then I would feel bad for anyone who had to face us in the first round. Imagine:

    Starters Reserves

Yao Ming/ Kelvin Cato/ Clarence Weatherspoon
    Kelvin Cato/ Maurice Taylor/ 'Spoon
Jim Jackson/ Bostjan Nachbar/ Adrian Griffin
    Steve Francis/ Adrian Griffin/ Pike?
Nick Van Exel/ Mark Jackson/ Mike Wilks?

Talk about a veteran backcourt.....that would be impressive to me! Just a suggestion...
