"Valley Oop" needs a new rule

The Defensive player could literally jump through the net and knock the ball away
Which is what should have happened on that play

Instead of changing the rule book, why not leave it at the discretion of the refs.

Let them call it the way they see fit given the players and teams involved and the game situation.
