Overall, I thought it was okay. But more importantly, my gf loved it.

    Mission accomplished. :)

write a Roses are Red Poem. Seriously, no matter how trite they consider the ordinary, all girls love a cute, meaningless little four liner that makes them laugh.

I'll even give you the first one I wrote, to my sister who was really depressed by a boyfriend who screwed her one February.

I was late buying her flowers to take to her house to help her roommate cheer her up, and the nearby grocery store was completely out, so I had to instead buy her what looked like a stick with thorns in dirt. Boy, was that sad looking!! But then an idea struck me like Cupid shooting me with an arrow to help me make my sister smile on V-Day. That stick was a type of rose bush called "Don Juan." And then the poem hit me...

    Roses are Red
    In a vase they're dead
So for your Valentine's Day lawn
    A sprouting Don Juan

What girl doesn't want a sprouting Don Juan on Valentine's Day.

    she laughed.

problem is, now I'm stuck writing one each year for my wife, with more and more pressure to top the last.

I haven't been to Fogo yet, but I love Rodizio's, which is just down the road and not as classy/expensive. It's $15 bucks for lunch and I thought the food was wonderful there.
