The Wal-Mart on 59 and Belfort is the Barrio....full of Brownies and all 15 of their nasty little kids. Must be bilingual to shop there. The Wal-Mart near Meyer Park is the Hood. Way too dark for me and dangerous! Don't go there unless you are packing heat! The Wal-Mart on Hwy 6 in Missouri City is where Hank Hill and Earl Hickey shop. But you can probably pick up a nice plump middle aged white chick there...most cushion for pushin. The Wal-Mart on Dunvaile and Westheimer is a nice little mix of everyone you can imagine. Want to go to Mexico, China, India, Africa and the Middle East???...go there for an afternoon. You'll love the smell also!!!
and I bet so many of these people who complain about walmart are also very bullish USA.. which side is it?
Most of you hate Wal Mart for all the wrong reasons, I hate it because it's always packed too, but that wouldn't be a problem if they had more than 4 registers open at one time. This is what I notice a lot, people complaining about the most irrelevant things, all the while the real problem is never solved, stop acting like you're too good for Wal Mart.
I have to admit that the El Honkystador hit the nail on the head with his post - you got what you deserved.
Yeah, I'll agree with the Horse Lover Jorge. I kept thinking in my head, you guys did know Valentines day is on the 14th. But yet, I ended updoing the same thing so I can be part of the train wreck, or atleast watch it. I was thinking of heading to the Wal-Mart on Eldridge and FM 1960, but I fear FM-1960 Morning, Mid Day, Afternoon, or Night.
i just went to the one on Wallisville and Beltway 8 (east Houston). Not really packed at all, since it was like what, 1130pm. But have to argue that they only had 4 registers open, and actually, its was diverse. But my side of town has all the white people, mexicans, and everyone else
Haha, my roommate and I just got back from Wal-Mart -- first time I've been to a Wal-Mart in a couple of years so naturally I was excited. The anticipation was like knowing you're going to Disney World. Seriously, if you were to have told me earlier in the day that I would be going to Wal-Mart tonight, I would have been just as giddy! And yeah, Baqui's experience was 100% accurate, even here in South Florida. I literally had to call my roommate 5 times to find out where he was. The number of young kids up that late was kind of astounding. And when my roommate went to get an associate to help get a pair of car speakers from the locked plexiglass doors, the guy spoke zero English. The caliber of people was kind of slobby; I was quite possibly the best-dressed person to set foot in a Wal-Mart -- ever. Overall it was quite an experience. Some Wal-Marts are actually "nice". This one...I felt like someone took a massive **** on me. I mean, there was a McDonald's built in to this Wal-Mart. How evil is that?? I think I'll just stick to spending more at Publix/Winn-Dixie/Target. It sure was damn fun to throw the footballs around though.
Man, if I knew ya'll were all gonna be so bitter about me and my family and my friends going to Wally Martinez making the place so bad for you all to go, I would have told them to stay home... Freakin' crybabies, I swear, man...
I miss the walmarts in Austin and SA. They were so nice. The best walmart is on the seawall in Galveston. Superbly clean store, nice employees and you don't have to worry about getting jacked.
Went in there tonight to get an extension cord for some work we are doing at the bar. The place was an absolute mad house...people were just grabbing anything in sight. It's like they didn't care what it was as long as it was stuffed and it had a heart or was red in color. It was pretty funny for me to watch actually. The things people were saying were even funnier. One guy in particular was telling another guy that was looking at flowers, "man why you gonna waste you money on something that will die in 2 days. Just get her a bear or plastic flowers and say they gonna last forever"
Those of you whining and complaining, especially Baqui... just come out and say you are pissed you couldn't find any "BrokeBack Mountain" Valentine Cards...
I purchased flowers and gift ONLINE...last week. Today I will kick back and enjoy a dinner with the family....screw Walmart and those jam packed restaurants.
I absolutely refuse to step foot in a Wal Mart. Ikea and Wal Mart are the two biggest cluster f!@$ in the world.
