Please provide some documentation, anything, from a player, from a trainer, from a reporter, that supports anything similar to the actions described by the poster from Hoopsworld. And please don't post Francis' opinion on how he thought JVG acted like he was bigger than the team. I want something showing he treated another player like he allegedly treated VSpan.

I betting right now you won't be able to. However, I am sure VSpan will be anointed as the first person with the courage and intestinal fortitude to finally speak out against JVG's 10 year reign of terror on his players.

Wait I thought this came from Spurs' forum, what Hoopsworld has more of this?

It's more of the JVG faithful not wanting their fearless leader smeared. It's revenge for besmirching the good name of their once proud leader and wanting to behead the rest of us. Well let the cartoons continue I say! Is this not a Democratic board? :D

Oh by the way...I"m not going to go googling through the entire internet looking for examples. I am sure there are plenty of articles out there. I'm only gonna look up one and post it.

Kirk Snyder was placed on the inactive list after an argument with coach Jeff Van Gundy for having had his minutes drastically cut.
"How do I put this kindly?" Van Gundy said. "We had a disagreement at practice today about how hard he was working and his response put him on the inactive list." The coach wouldn't speculate how long Snyder's benching will be, but the defensive specialist doesn't have any fantasy value regardless.

    Something is fishy here:

@ 909am this morning, BEXCELANT reposts KILLBILL PANA's rant from Spurstalk:

@ 425pm this afternoon, I bring up the issue.

13 mins later, both BBall Scientist and BEXCELANT (within 7 mins of each other) jump in and state that I am mistaken on what that meant).

@ 447pm this afternoon, the original post by Kill Bill Pana was edited to show:

@ 537pm this afternnoon, BBall Scientist, instead of quoting the rant repost from THIS thread, goes to Spurstalk, copies and pastes, and reposts the EDITED rant here and proceeds to try and make me look like a fool ("I am thinking you are failing to read something here properly.") claiming what I saw in the article was never there.

Kill Bill Pana posts here. I wonder who he is ........

    So is that a concession?

So JVG benched Snyder for 1 game after an argument? How does that prove that JVG allegedly treated VSpan as Kill Bill Pana said?

    And for the record:

Do I believe JVG was a stern coach who wasn't above rattling his players in practice and in the media w/ hardcore tactics? Absolutely.

I also know that many Rockets, Jon Barry (moreso after he left the team), Bobby Sura and T-Mac to name a few have called JVG the best and most prepared coach they have ever played for.

Welcome to the world of sports. Where alot of players don't like their coach and vice versa.

    So is that a concession?

No I am just not going to spend two or three hours searching for articles substantiating my posts. I said I would look up one. Took me about 5 minutes and I found one. If I could find one that fast, I am sure I could find many more in two hours of time. However, someone else can look through the net for more Van Gundyisms.

Wow, that is some serious ownage right there. Good job.

What credibility BballS had left is obviously gone now, and it just goes to show the danger of taking information from other forums.

So what..Kill Bill obviously read both forums and changed his words to make sense. His original post obviously makes no sense. BTW I am not Kill Bill.

2 or 3 hours? lol Your not going to spend 2 or 3 minutes because you won't find anything that resembles those rants that have been posted.

Surely Mirsad Turkcan has a blog somewhere showing that JVG once gave him an indian rug burn in his office after he claimed he was like Tom Chambers in Turkey.

I am SMITTEN that Kill Bill felt inclined to edit his post (24 hours after the fact) when he saw that I had misunderstood what he meant.

Don't you realize that the article from the Spurs forum has now been totally invalidated, now that we know that BBallS = KillBillPana? Basically this guy is posting crap on the Spurs forum, and now quoting it here as if it were someone else's stuff. If someone else posted it, perhaps we might believe it, but now it's been revealed that KillBillPana is BBallS's sockpuppet on another forum. We know how ridiculously biased BBallS is. Therefore, the stuff has NO CREDIBILITY, AT ALL.

BBallS, I understand that you're a fan of Greek athletes, but you've ruined your credibility by jumping completely overboard. You don't see me going around posting that Sun Yue is the next Magic Johnson or that Yi is the next KG.

When did he have any credibility?

    I'm waiting.

I doubt that BBalls is KillBill. Totally different writing style and BBalls didn't comment on the article until a day or so after it was posted on the other bulletin board.

"’I don’t know what my role is.’ Translation: ’I don’t like my role. I don’t get to shoot enough.’ I never hear, ’I don’t know what my role is’ from a good player. It’s always the players whose role is ’sit your ass on the bench because you suck and we have a better chance of winning without you.’" – Jeff Van Gundy

"I suck at the NBA and apologize to everybody who had to watch me play, I need to go back to the barn and ply my trade, because the sheep will love me no matter what" - Vasilis Spanoulis, 2007.

There - it is now quoted on the INTERNET. Please take this quote my friends, and paste, paste, paste it. It is obvously true, that is why it's on the INTERNET.

Dude, stop digging that hole deeper and deeper. You've made your anti-JVG position known quite well (and it colors EVERY ONE of your posts), yet somehow, it's the rest of us who are more biased?

As the great B-Ball Scientist says:

    What the hell?
    What the hell?
    What the hell?
    What the hell?
    What the hell?

Its sad that this quote can't be corroborated anywhere else on the internets.

Its even sadder it can't be corroborated anywhere on CF.net (where almost everything that JVG has ever been quoted as saying is most certainly here somewhere).

But just for fun, I'll concede that JVG said it. Explain to me how it proves that Kill Bill Pana's accusations are true?
