Gimme a break. When have you ever known a dominante low post player go to another team to average half the points he had? Shaq goes to Miami and is played at a high level in a different system. He still won a ring.

If Rockets win 60+ in next 5-10years, don't care how much Yao get, but the bottom line Yao is our start center.

No point arguing about who gets what

Fact is we won't win 60+ without getting Yao invovled. All these theories of what if we win without Yao are totally irrelevant.

Golden State led the league in Fastbreak points last year at 20.2 fbppg. If Adelman turns us into an elite offense, say 105 ppg, and we run a heck of a lot (lets use 20 fbppg), then there is still 85 ppg scored in the half court. I don't Yao is going to have a problem getting his 25+ points.

I really think it can go that way. Adelman is offensive coach...Tracy won't play as a playmaker like he did last year, cause Adelman wants him to score points. He wil probably play off the ball. Yao couln not have about 25 PPG cause Adelman wants to use him. He wants him on the high post, screens he wants to make him a batter passer also. Luther maybe won't score about 16 per game but the situation with Rockets wil really be different and interestin'

no way we will run like golden state or phoenix. they run literally EVERY possession jacking up 3s at every poession they can get.

we have to get the ball to yao as much as possible b/c he is a HUGE guy that can score.

again, adelman does not run like don nelson. he jus wants us to take the best shot first if it's indeed a good shot. w/ don nelson, they can jack it up anytime anyplace regardless of what kind of shot it is. also, we don't have their kind of athletes to run like them.

we'll score more EFFICIENTLY, which is more important. we don't need to be the best offensive team in the L.

again, like barkley said, tracy won't be used as much of a playmaker so expect him to score 28-30 pts next yr (hell he might challenge for the scoring title since kobe only avg 31 ppg last yr).

yao will avg 24-26 pts, but i really want to see his defense and rebounding.

don't worry guys, our 2 stars will be featured.

    yao_fan_2007,

I think you have a very low IQ, because there are so many contradictions in your posts.

Do you really think Yao will play worse under Adelman than under JVG? You are a true YOF, I understand, but how can you want to fire JVG?

In Pryuen's translation, Divac said "Rick can certainly let Yao Ming play 100% to his best capabilities.".

Adelman is an offensive minded coach, most players will have better stats playing under him than JVG, who is a defensive jerk instead.

Also, Pryuen has the right to say whatever he want to say, it is his opinion. And I do think he is right, you don't deserve to be an Yao fan.
