Fat small town campus cops weren't going in regardless. They didn't go, those are 5.56 rounds vs 9mm rounds. Dead is dead and at the distances they were engaged at, 9mm is just as deadly. Probably more inaccurate, but not any less deadly. It's all damage control at this point.
AR-15’s are a weapon of choice because they inflict maximum damage severely destroying body tissue upon impact those kids were so mutilated by those bullets they had to be identified via DNA samples and for the kids that do initially survive getting shot and are rushed to a trauma center, the chances that a surgeon can repair that much widespread damage are slim to none and yes, if the shooter had a glock, the police are not waiting a whole hour outside
Wow. They'll be able to teach Uvalde PD for decades to come in terms of how not to handle a crisis. It's like one of the lesser episodes of Dukes of Hazard at this point, with Roscoe, Enis, and Boss Hogg.
****. Them. If they charge her, someone please send me the verified gofundme link for her legal defense. ****ing shameful.
I can still understand why LE might keep civillians out of an active shooter situation. Including using force to keep them out. That said charging a concerned parent is both excessive and petty. In this case it also seems like Uvalde PD is covering up their own failures.
When people say we need our 2nd Amendment to defend against Tyranny, this is what Tyranny looks like. You will not convince me to give up my arms when you have militarized bullies patrolling our streets.
What do you think the Venn diagram of supporters of broad 2A rights and supporters of police militarization looks like?
Believe it or not that diagram is beginning to shift. The arrests of the 1/6 insurrectionists and the Uvalde response has shown those idiots that Police are not their friends. They will get no special treatment.
