I am not so sure about Jazz drop the Phoenix game. Actually, Jazz is the Phoenix terminator after sweeping Phoenix in their 3 previous encounters this season.

They actually lost the battle in the end, right? Didn't they get outflanked through a mountain pass?

But they delayed the Persians enough to where the Greek fleet could pound them into submission so ultimatly the Persians lost the war.

First off, both Detroit and Denver are fast enough when playing Phx. But Rockets can't be that fast because we have Yao.

 

Riz is correct if he's speaking about the persians....

 

denver plays fast for sure. but i dont think detroit plays fast-fast or suns-like fast. they increase their original tempo but they still play halfcourt most of the time.

what we need yao to do is to increase his stamina a lil more and it will probably come as he plays more games.

we can't afford him to be gassed out w/ 4-5 mins left in the first. hopefully we'll see that improvement in the next few games.

Guys I just have problems with the film portraiting Persians as ugly, evil, but the spartans all handsome and justice I smell another American in mideast possibly against Iran

I don't think thats the issue honestly. We play a similar style to Sa and I don't think PHX gives them fits like . Of course they have Parker who is can get into the paint and score.(no knock on rafer) On Offense, our problem is spreading the court. It's as simple as guys knocking down the shots that they would normally hit. But Ill save the rest for the thread dedicated to the Suns.

Actually, as it stands right now the Lakers would play the Suns in the first round, Denver is ahead of the Lakers, but just barely. Either way though I think a healthy Lakers team or a Denver team that finally learns to play well together would be a tough matchup for the Suns

 

I dont agree with you.Detroit is not that fast team: they control the tempo so well and beat PHO on half-court game. YAO is our best weapon to beat them, if use him wisely.
AND I assume you dont want to say: bench YAO and put CHUCK on when we play PHO?
