Rockets must win at least one game in LA and hopefully the Jazz will lose to the Spurs later this week.

THANKS for the collective choke job Washington Wizards!!
At least Boozer is taking fade-aways instead of going straight at the defenders, which is a good think for our poor Chuck

I like them because of Gilbert and their last 3 games on this West Coast road trip have driven me crazy. All winnable but they found a way to lose all 3.

if the rockets can't correct their woes in defending a lead, we won't get past utah in the 1st round regardless of home court. Utah is one of the best at 2nd half and 4th quarter comebacks. And it showed again tonight.

I hope nobody is comparing our defense to the Wizards' D. Boozer really went off on them tonite.

I wish we had a home crowd like the Jazz do. Their fans really made it tough on the Wizards tonight.

Hopfully the TC will be like that come playoff time, and hopfully we play play game 1 there too ;)

They also play the Mavs in Dallas in a couple of weeks as well as the Suns.

The Jazz have owned the Suns this season though.

The key to passing them up is the next 10 days. The Jazz have a gimme at home against the T'Wolves but then embark on another 4-game roadie. If they struggle on that trip(and they should since their first two are against the Spurs and us), we can overtake them.

Of course, this is predicated on the Rockets doing no worse than a split in L.A. and playing well in April.

It's all about our two meetings with them, IMO. Go figure we play them in our finale game, which'll make this an 8-game series for the first round. Pretty nuts.

it'll suck if we don't get HC.

2 yrs ago, it sucked that we got the higher seed and didn't get the 6th seed and play seattle, whom we could have won in 5.

I was just about to post similar estimates. Basically, if we sweep the Jazz we mostly likely get the HCA. A split or a Utah sweep and they have it.

There is an error with how that guy came with 44% chances for Utah if they get swept. It's much less than that. I think he estimates that if we sweep we still have 6-4 as most probable record for rest of the way. 6-4 maybe our most probable record, however in the particular case where we sweep the Jazz it is not, as it would make the most probable record for the other 8 games to be 4-4, which is clearly not the case.

If we sweep, our highest probability record is 7-3 and Jazz' s highest probability is 6-5.
