B2b for the Jazz. They gave it their all last night against the Rockets. The next 3 games for the Grizzlies will be tough. at Boston, at Chicago, vs Spurs. Will see what the standings are after Sunday. If all goes well the Rockets should tied or ahead of the Grizzlies.
I wouldnt worry... Kyle Lowry like every other nba player not named Kevin Love has virtually no shot at winning MIP this year. Not that its a bad thing =D. Love's vast statistical improvement and perhaps as important, the notoriety of his achievements will assuredly guarantee him being the MIP winner or curse recipient lol. Kevin Love 2009-10 14 pts 11 rebounds 45% fg 33% 3pt kevin Love 2010-11 20 pts 15 rebounds 47% fg 42% 3pt
Can we make a rule that states when there is a game that affects the rockets' playoff chances we DO NOT MENTION IT ON THIS BOARD until AFTER it is over?!?!?!?! It seems like this jinx is more effective than the Bill Worrell free throw curse!!!
This is certainly murderous for the grizzlies. Boston is a team that seems to find a way to beat us at the end. I am more confident about the Bulls, but they killed us earlier this year, but a lot of that had to do with Gay's 1-10 performance, but another factor had to be the early game start. The grizzlies are terrible in early games, and gay is especially bad in them. The spurs game is going to be a close game, because we always play them close. We just have to hope we get the luck at the end of the game.
The spurs have gotten the grizzlies when Rudy was out every game. Obviously it sucks that Tim is out, he is a great player and a class guy, but I won't be sad if he happens to miss the Memphis Game.
Grizz are playing well right now, I am surprised and have been waiting for a collapse for a while now from them but it looks like they are on a mission.
But Memphis has a really easy schedule after that so we need to take advantage of their upcoming losing streak and win some games
