I turned on the TV and found myself saying " C'mon Utah lets go !!!! " Am I going Freakin crazy ? I hate Utah more than any other pro-team in any sport !! We do need Denver to drop though cause tomorrows game is almost a guarantee loss
A bit off-topic here, but can someone explain why Denver has green jerseys? They look quite neat IMO. Want Denver to win, so Utah slips to 8th hopefully.
Are u sure u want Denver to win ? I know we all hate the Jazz in Rocket Land but we need to keep pace with Denver ...... Who knows I'm having a hard time rooting for the j*zz
Considering Denver's schedule is a cakewalk and Utah's is pretty darn scary, its in the Rockets best interest Utah gets the win BUT...but Utah has NEVER won a single away game against a team above .500%, at least according to ESPN.
I concur. The Rockets could have also helped themselves a bit with a win last night.... OK, OK. (calms down a bit) Still, idk, as long as Utah gets 7th or 8th i'm content. We sure as hell aren't getting the 2 seed.
So much for the Nuggets starting this game fired up. They sure look lackadaisical. I think the green unis are Denver Rockets jerseys from the ABA.
My God, J.R. Smith is on fire! If Artest isnt resigned, oh I would love Joe Johnson or maybe even J.R. Smith at the 2.
J.R. Smith is a heck of a 6th man. If we resign Wafer and he keeps up the progress, he very much can play that role on our team for the next several years. If Brooks doesn't stick as a starter, he and Wafer could make a pretty lethal scoring backcourt coming off the bench.
i don't think i've seen a nuggets game this season where j.r. smith wasn't hitting. and i was thinking that about 3 j.r. smith games ago. he just is always on. i wasn't really paying attention but 6/7 on 3's, damn. and i just looked up as it was happening and had it on mute, but what was that anthony carter shot behind the backboard? did he really do that or had the shotclock expired or a whistle blown or something and he wasn't trying?
He was even more deadly last season. He's gotten it going again over the last few weeks but he was on an absolute tear for large stretches last season when nights like tonight were much more common.
Be sure and wash your hands especially good for typing that. Looks like it was just a matter of time before the Jazz crumbled, but J.R. Smith had a lot to do with it. Boozer, D-Will and Okur are 1/10, 1/7 and 1/6 which is troubling because you know that won't continue. I expect the Jazz to make a major push in the 3rd quarter and maybe take the lead. If the Nuggets match their intensity and hold on, this game will end up another blowout. Even if the Jazz come all the way, I don't see them finishing ahead unless the Nuggets crumble. f4p, J.R. Smith has plenty of bad games where his shot selection is horrible and he does dumb things. The key is contesting his shots and forcing him to make decisions. The Jazz defense is so bad tonight that all he has to do is get a pick and fire away. I don't think he does this often against teams like the Spurs, who play defense and know what J.R. can do. ac's shot was just as bad as it looked. Uuuuuuugly!
