There's a bunch of internet rumors sourrounding his early departure. I don't know the details but for OKSt. withdraw from their best recruit, I'm assuming it must be bad.
Yes, Gooden's kind of a headcase in the Perrilloux/Tellus mold. But I figure, there's no harm in going after him. He's pretty talented, and I'd rather not lose him to another Big XII school.
Dude had his chance. Let the aggies have him so he can elavate their recruiting class rank from sewage to garbage this year.
Bwahahahaha! Frantastic class Fran's putting together over there this year. Definitely worth the big money they've decided to pay him. Meanwhile, Mike Shula won 10 games at Bama.
Exactly. I mean, OkSt. isn't exactly a hot bed for recruits and for them to basically just let him walk out, I really want to know what he did. I don't think we need him and his attitude on this team, we're pretty stacked as of now and already have a #1/#2 recruiting ranking w/o him. I've got nothing against Tellus, he wanted to play basketball along with football and UT wouldn't provide that opportunity. I wish we had him to replace Thomas, but oh well. He should turn out to be a very good player. Perilloux on the other, even you have to admit, really acted like a punk with the entire recruiting process. I understand people change their mind, but that's not our beef. When he came for his official visit, the first thing he did was try to recruit players away from Texas to LSU. Then he deliberately waited until the last possible minute to switch saying he had a suprise in store?
I'd rather wait and get Bradley Stephens than Goodsen. I heard he is high on Texas. He has got some videos here http://imageevent.com/mcallentxrb
micah and everyone else on here, i would expect sergio kindle to play RIGHT AWAY. i don't see him being a backup. he'll play and play a lot his freshman year. and perilloux is a head case. the guy did try to get guys to follow him wherever he did end up, which was LSU, and i'm sure he was positive on that destination throughout much of the recruiting process. i know kids change their mind on schools, i know i did a couple of times, but this guy was flatout dishonest and shady along the process.
Did you miss this idiotic display on Fox Sports Net last year? I would have been embarassed if any of Texas' recruits acted like a tool like that as well.
Dude you class ranking at present isn't in the top 25. TxTech has a better recruiting class. Also, Malcom Williams drops you guys like a girl with herpes and bolts for OU leaving you with only 1 player ranked in the top 100. Better hope his check clears before Baylor snags him. ...is this the best team you guys could buy????
We were 5-6 last year! What do you expect? We still have a shot at a bunch of 4 star prospects and had good classes the last couple years. How are we buying players? I bet we end up in the top 25 classes, that would be a nice accomplishment considering how bad a season we had. Its easy to talk trash when to A&M when we are down.
I just reply when the UT fans attack. I simply stated that I thought it was funny that two of the top recruits in the nation did not pick UT and they were labeled "headcases". I was anti Vince, while I don't like UT they are no different than OU, OSU, Miami...
