Now that Vince is going to the NFL, what do the Horns do? It's going to be a long season with a freshman QB. Perriloux looks like an idiot now.

Perriloux... that dude aint gonna see the field untill his JR. year. It's gonna be hard on the Freshman but we have enough returning players to ease the transition. McCoy was never signed to be a starter so its gonna be Jevean Snead show. I like that Sneads gonna be one of five recruits at Spring Practice. Kindle's another so that should give them precious time under thier belts. I just feel bad for whoever follows VY, so mush pressure. The minute he throws a INT or FUM thier gonna start the "VY would have never done that" talk. And I can see all the UT haters already constructing thier venomous criticsism against Brown the second after a loss. Their gonna do him like Mike Shanahan "He only one cause he had Young."

Snead is a 3 star right? Will any 5 stars decommit now that Vince has declared or do we wait until next year?

not that i'm all over recruiting or anything, but i was pretty sure Snead was a 4-star. i wanna say the other guy we got (sherrod harris, did he commit to us?) was a 3-star and so was colt last year.

periloux has to be kicking himself right now. he decomitted from texas because he wanted to play right away, ended up sitting on the bench at LSU this year now with russell coming back and flynn taking apart an excellent miami defense in the peach bowl, he'll be 3rd string again....

anyway, both mccoy and snead are talented and until they are comfortable throwing the ball around texas will use their strength, running the ball. whoever is under center will have jammal charles, selvin young, and ramonce taylor to hand the football to next year. not a bad backfield.

I thought Snead looked better than MM. Snead/McCoy/Harris is who we're going to battle with.

goodson is a friend of my little sister in high school. she's been telling me for months that he wanted to go to Oklahoma State (  ), but recently changed his mind to USC.

kid should go to Texas, dammit.

yeah he said something about coming out if Vince does. I would advise him not to on account of the 5 other Sr.OT that might be picked ahead of him.
1 D'Brickashaw Ferguson,Virginia 2, Jonathan Scott Texas 3, Eric Winston Miami (FL) 4, Daryn Colledge Boise State 5, Marcus McNeill Auburn.

or Jrs Winston Justice USC and Joe Thomas Wisconsin.

More Money to be made next year.

goodson said he was commiting to oklahoma state in june or july.

Matt Jackson said that during the game, he was going to USC, but he never said anything.

And is Selvin Young going to the draft? I saw on ESPN.com's draft thingie, it said he was on there.

And Sweed, Pittman, and Cosby still lining up as receivers. Sweed could become a monster possession receiver. Does anyone know if Jordan Shipley will ever be healthy?

We're going to miss David Thomas. Hopefully someone like Jermichael Finley will step up as a TE.

Not only does OSU lose their entire LB core, but all four of their starting DBs and two D-linemen. That's 9 out of 11 starters gone!

i doubt selvin young goes pro. he had a decent season but i doubt he gets drafted if he enters. he has fumbling problems. he does everything else very well but has had problems holding onto the ball.

jordan shipley has been the best receiver the last two off seasons at texas but hasn't been able to stay healthy. they love the guy and think he can be a great WR but health is definitely an issue.

jermichael finley should be a very good tight end or slot receiver right away. i think david thomas wasn't used as much as he should have been at texas but regardless he'll be sorely missed. i think he'll be a steal for a pick in the 2006 draft.

Why isn't Texas after the Arkansas QB prospect?

Did you see him play @ the Army Bowl. If you did then you would have your answer.

I think we offered him early in the year, but he went with ARK. so we rescinded the offer. Besides Jevean looked better.
