Losing Baxter was a big factor. The RB group played admirably and had their moments but inconsistency, fumbles, and lack of a power run game really changed the dynamic of the offense IMO.

Don't understand why Gibson didn't get more run.
    He played well against Michigan.

Fumbles and pass protection I presume.

We tried at the 1 then we give up ? Should keep pounding the rock. Sark needs a red zone play caller.

UT is good with Wisner. They won't miss Baxter.

This is why Baxter was such a big loss. We just didn't have the personnel to pound the rock on short yardage situations. But ya that series will live in infamy for a long long time.

Longtime Oklahoma State coach Jason McEndoo expected to join Texas staff

    From On3:

"This is of note because Ok. St. deployed a position called the Cowboy Back which is essentially a fullback/tight end hybrid. These players have to be versatile. They’re run blockers (both lead and kick-out), pass blockers, motion-men, receivers in the short and intermediate, and sometimes even runners. The Cowboy Back adds flexibility to an offense and the ability to create mismatches. They can be very effective assets in the red zone."

Really bright coaching future for him IMO. On3 reporting Will Harris (Florida) and Doug Belk (USC and former UH DC) are in the running.
