Glad this is an AM game, I'm ready (pit is warming up, beers are cooling down) and hoping for a proper beatdown.
On 3rd and 6, vs a blitz, how do you not have a single route over the wide open middle of the field? That's on the playcall not the QB.
Ewers has underthrown 2 balls that should have been 6 and missed some other easy ones. Really not a sharp half from him so far, I hoped that the game last week got him back on track.
All Helm has to do is keep moving toward the endzone instead of stopping on the 4, he's wide ass open, and then throw hits him in the hands. That's what it looked like what Ewers was expecting. It's been mentioned by Sark and others, but the level of on-field communication is sorely lacking.
Speaking of Ewers and Helm, that 3rd down conversion a few plays ago should kill any questions about arm strength and hands.
You are right. Yep. Welcome to the SEC. Arky somehow beat Tennessee this year. I'll be calm as long as UT is up 2 scores.
Arkansas' last game was a 63-31 loss to Ole Miss where they gave up 562 yards in the air. UT has 130 yards passing after 3 quarters. 13-10 now.
Arky beats Tennessee, Vandy beat Bama, Ole Miss lost to Kentucky. Welcome to the SEC as I said, you can't explain it all, at all.
Alfred Collins is a 5* DL from 4 years ago. He has finally found his skills, and he's gonna get paid via the draft.
