Ewers ain't it. Can't imagine any NFL gm watching this and saying he's the guy they want leading their team.
He won't, but I would start Manning next week. I'll take the risk on the wild card. Ewers just isn't that guy, he's basically a game manager who can make the easy passes. If we're able to get back into the playoffs he won't be good enough. This game certainly wasn't all his fault, but his lack of any kind of playmaking ability really shows in a game where the team doesn't have a dominant talent advantage.
Ewers will make 100M and have a 15 year career as a backup QB. Think that last UH kid, whatever his name was.
The concept of moving in a pocket is completely foreign to Ewers. Remain stationary and stare down the primary target.
Final score wasn't a complete abomination, so at least there's that. Just finish Top 4 and perform well in the playoffs. THREE f***ing lost fumbles.... smh.
