He was beating the hell out of the parking boot with a tire iron, and apparently actually broke it. He was suspended at Bama before he transferred, but I don't know why. Sounds like he has a bit of maturing to do, which is shocking since he's 19 or 20 years old.
Per IT: Roschon Johnson, Isaiah Neyor, Junior Angilau all left the field. Johnson was carted to the locker room, Neyor walked to the locker room, Angilau limped to the sideline.
Losing Neyor is such a gut punch. Hope we can get Roschon Johnson back for conference play. Really interested to see how Sark runs the remaining scrimmages.
https://www.burntorangenation.com/2...-ewers-hudson-card-brenen-thompson-casey-cain After throwing only one interception last season, Card threw at least four interceptions on Tuesday, with an early interception by junior safety Jerrin Thompson. Card then threw multiple interceptions during a team period, including one by junior linebacker Jaylan Ford jumping a route that would have gone for a touchdown.
The fact that Card hasn't separated himself from Ewers is telling. Hope Sark doesn't do the "both guys will play" nonsense from last year. Another very interesting note from yesterday was that freshmen Kelvin Banks and DJ Cambell took all 1st team reps. Cam Williams was also splitting 1st team reps at RT. We seriously might be looking at 3 true freshman on the OL.
One thing Sarkisian doesn't want to do is get into a situation this season where he's rotating quarterbacks. "I think it's hard for a quarterback to get into rhythm that way, and I think you play differently knowing, 'Hey, I don't know how many throws I'm going to get,' and you take too many chances," Sarkisian said. "I just don't think the decision-making is very good." https://www.espn.com/college-footba...equipped-compete-weeding-some-warts-last-year
This makes sense, I can't imagine how a recruit of Ewers' caliber could've been benched in this day and age. You gotta play the 5* recruits if you have them.
