All week Herman was talking up ISU’s DL. Game on the line and Herman runs Sam right into the teeth of it. Herman in a nutshell.
The passing game sucked too , it only seems that the plays were all long yardage or bust I guess we’re too good to take the underneath stuff
This was never a part of Sams game. Not sure how much that is on him or Herman but damn shame we didn’t see Ehlinger develop all that much his time here.
This was a must win for Herman, obviously for the season but more than likely his job. He even got an extra bye week which allowed some key players to come back. Team was playing relatively well then Herman completely craps the bed with two absolutely asinine calls. I just don’t see an avenue where CDC can sell Herman on another season. Dude has got to go IMO.
I was so excited about the Herman hire but he's a horrible X and O's coach and picks really crappy coordinators. At this point I miss Mack and Greg Davis. At least the quick out pass gained yards most of the time
Arguably the biggest criticism of Greg Davis was his constant sideways passes that netted 0 yards because our guys never figured out how to block the DBs. Roy Williams, in particular, had an endless number of these failed plays. We waited 10 years for a fake pump and go that never came.
Herman is more interested in telling people how smart he is vs. actually fielding a good football team.
Sam Cosmi opting out the last 2 games. Fully expect Ossai and maybe some others to do the same. What a dumpster fire of a season. CDC can’t show Herman the door fast enough.
Cosmi was part of Senior Day as a RS Junior, so this was totally expected once they lost. No idea why Ossai would play again but you never know. I'm sure he's talking with agents who I'm sure will give him great advice.
Everything is irregular this year. But you have nothing to play for anymore, so why risk it? He didn't opt out before the season....
Inside Texas reporting that Herman is looking for a vote of confidence from the Athletic Department but won’t get one. There is some speculation that Herman is trying to bully CDC to either give him the vote or fire him. No idea if true but can’t forget Tom has basically burned every bridge possible at both OSU and UH. But don’t blame in this situation though, he’s a dead man walking.
I'm cool with whatever happens as long as I never hear another ******* word from "Texas insiders" or "boosters close to the program".
