This is a shameful way to end what was a dominant win by Texas. Absurd lack of discipline. The game could be over, but instead they're giving Georgia a 1% chance to win here.
Cook was a late hit but it didn't look like helmet contact. I don't agree with the second targeting call.
Can UT rise as Alabama begins to fall? Saban is getting old as hell. He has to be ending his time coaching in the near future.
Yup but that wasn’t targeting by Cook. Dumb way to end a good game. But man Herman had these kids ready to play. Huge win.
People have been talking about Saban getting old for years. He's still taking care of business. That's not going to change for a while. Anyways, since day one Herman has preached physicality... tonight that vision came into fruition. They manhandled Georgia in every facet of the game. I think it starts with #11. I wasnt always a believer in him but it's clear that he embodies exactly what Herman has been preaching. The dude is TOUGH and while that gets him into trouble at times, he's exactly the type of guy you want carrying out your message. It's been building all year but I became a true fan of Ehlinger tonight.
We beat them by defense and rushing the ball That is normally what they do Very impressed Also kris Boyd didn’t mess up
I'm going to go all UCF and use the transitive property after a bowl game. Texas is the third-best team in the country right now.
I'm not so sure the SEC was overrated this year. But you cant convince me Georgia wasn't mailing it in after an emotional letdown against Alabama. These bowl games don't matter. And when you pit a team with something to prove against a team that feels they underachieved anything can happen. Texas looks aight though.
Yea, that's always great. Texas loses = See, Texas isn't that good. Texas wins = Texas still isn't that good because it was not a "real" win because [insert team] was "mailing it in" So it's a no win situation for Texas. Texas just b*tch slapped the (IMO) 2nd best team in the country. They looked better than "aight."
This was for recruiting, being the last game on TV when everyone is at home from being out all last night.
