I saw that overthrow as soon as it happened.

 

All he had to do was throw it somewhere in the middle of the field instead of outside.

eta: it's hard to really project things from 1/2 of this game going forward, due to the emotion-fueled rivalry weirdness, but Strong has these guys playing like a completely different defense than we've seen all year.

 

Or throw it at the receiver instead of lob it up.

 

He does put a ton of air under his deep balls, I'm not sure he has the arm to throw those on a line.

Nice to see Collin Johnson get some thrown his way, I've been waiting to see him do good things after all the hype he got in the spring. Considering his size you'd think they'd work on some fades to him in the red zone.

 

We are hanging in by turnovers at the moment, our offense is predictable - our defense is vanilla - where is the innovation?

How can Sumlin come to A&M and right away make it good, how can Herman do the same at UH?

It will take a while for some but Strong is not a good coach, he is average.

It's crazy how much young WR talent UT has, Warrick is the only SR and I believe he's a redshirt.

This game will be a mirror image of all of our losses. Offense plays well, but defense providing zero resistance.
