    Gilbert still looks better running than passing, he has a cannon but little touch....and slow decision making, reminds me of Chris Simms.

    I still have no feel for what this team will be though. They can't stop the run through the middle at all. Not good.

    Concerns about the offense still linger, but I saw some promising things. It's a new offense so I'll give it some time. Gilbert looks confident at times but then other times he doesn't look like he knows what he's doing, panics. Defense looks pretty promising. I just hope it's not a repeat of something last season, I'll take the win.

    It's a very complicated offense, which is why we saw multiple illegal shifts. The D looked outstanding at times (But then, It's Rice, lol), but like butter through the middle, although I do love the multiple blitz combinations. I'm pretty damn stoked with the new coaching staff we have. That wide receiver pass to Shipley was Gold, Jerry!

    At least its not watching the Greg Davis spread offense with those sick 3 yard screen passes.
