Jordan Elliott should be next around Noon. He's announcing with some other expected Longhorn recruits.

Texas entered the day in a spot unfamiliar to most Longhorns fans. After years of dominating the Big 12 recruiting wars, Texas had the 32nd-ranked class, but the Longhorns shot up the rankings to No. 11 after top 50 prospects Jeffrey McCulloch and Brandon Jones committed to Texas live on ESPNU and ESPN 300 outside linebacker Erick Fowler flipped from LSU. The Longhorns also added ESPN 300 defensive tackles Marcel Southall and Chris Daniels on Wednesday, giving them three four-star defensive tackle commits. The Longhorns have now landed seven four-star recruits in the past 24 hours. "I believe this class is going to help Texas win national championships," McCulloch said. "We believe in Charlie Strong. He's such a genuine person, and this group is going to help Texas do a lot of big things. Coach Strong has made us all believers." http://espn.go.com/college-sports/r...mson-scores-big-signing-day-cb-trayvon-mullen
Damn, look at that jump! http://insider.espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/classrankings?action=login
That he can't do anything with the talent he recruits? I hope he does well though. Got to keep the horns away from coach Herman!
To be fair, recruiting is only half the battle. If the W's don't show up, the recruiting won't be worth much.
I expect Elliott to be it. But that's not stopping speculation of 'silent' recruits. Malik Jefferson said in his Periscope live stream that something 'unreal' would happen at 8:00 tonight. Who knows what that means. That could be something as simple as Strong doing the dab again
I'm surprised UT is pulling in good recruits after a not-so-improved second season under Strong. Hopefully it'll translate to the field. While getting stud defensive players is nice, defense wasn't the big problem last year.
That cal game was especially bad. I was in attendance for that game, and Goff was just picking the Horns defense apart any chance he got.
Having approximately 2 somewhat proven DTs on the roster in 2016 until today is a problem. Recruiting is done to fill a the multi-year pipeline, if you're recruiting 18 year olds to fill whatever perceived deficiences you had last season, and counting on them to do it next season, it's probably not being done correctly.
I think you will see improvement on offense next year as well. A better offensive system, a better quarterback than the past couple of years, a better offensive line (no more Hutchins), and a potentially really good running game will make a huge difference
