    even if? it's all over message boards mere hours from the incident. this will be national in no time.


    what i don't get is a lot of times someone will get charged and then the story will say it stemmed from an incident some months before. and then there are times like this when you hear about it immediately. are there differences in how certain cases are handled or do some charges come out quicker?


    who knows if he'll play. it's just a charge, not a conviction at this point, but if mack knows it's true then he has to do something.

    That website only lists people who are currently in custody, Brown has probably posted bail and been released while Harris has not.

    It's apparent I struck a nerve Dave. Maybe your anger is misplaced. If u r an alum, maybe u should be pissed that there is a drug problem on the football team. All this coinciding w/ the school being ranked #1 party school and being ranked one of the top schools for mar1juana. Instead of being proud of that ranking, maybe u could be proactive and do something about it.

    By the way, I didn't even apply to your school, hell, I don't even know if u graduated from that school. I applied to and got into and graduated from the school I wanted from the beginning in A&M and didn't even sniff the way of texas. If I was interested in that school, I have confidence I would have gotten in, but I guess we'll never know.

    I hope he plays. All it is now is charges (misdemeanors at that), innocent until proven guilty people.

    Sure is stupid though to be remotely in a position like that, probably will cost him draft position and lots of money because he is a decent prospect. Really dumb individual decision.

    Romance is more needed this year than ever (young offense), and he is off the team, no?

    I don't care about small amounts of mar1juana or masturbating in car. The gun is somewhat more troubling, but still is just "charges" at this point, for those who care about the principle of innocent until proven guilty.

    exactly, our founding fathers knew what they were doing. what if george washington had been suspended from the battle of yorktown because he may or may not have had some mary jane and an unregistered musket on him? now would any of y'all want that?

    For all we know. given the lack of details, is that the illegal weapon (in TX it can be a gun, knife, or club) could have been Arron's and placed under the passanger seat/glove campartment of Harris's car. In which case the person nearest the weapon gets charged with the crime.

    Edit: Remeber this isn't Arrons first transgression with the law. If we're gonna judge lets start with Harris. Tarell has been squeaky clean since he arrived. He should at least get the benefit of the doubt.

    You're right, but I didn't go back to 2003, whereas there were issues w/ Romance as recently as May.
