That thread was a masterpiece and I'm pissed that it got locked after people started dragging too much of a bathroom element in. Anyway, texxx you are right about the El Rey importing locked content. King, I've been told that a Level 12 Tech Specialist will be dispatched immediately to your work station to ensure that proper Fifth Echelon protocols are not violated again. In fact, an entire OS re-dump and scrub might be necessary in this instance and I for one am not happy about having Internal Tech Controllers vetting our parameters for the next week. You'll be hearing from me in the future on this.
The word "classically" was edited to its proper spelling before your correction attempt was made. INSULT THWARTED
It sure is. Both are in my top 5 favs in the US. I don't have a job there yet, but I have contacts and I've heard it's not as hard to find a job there. Austin is probably wehre I want to settle, but unless I'm wealthy, I'll probably have to buy a house in Pflugerville or RR. NY is just one of those places that you have to live at least once in your life, imo.
Indeed, it most certainly is. I am a much better person for having experienced that urban lifestyle. I decided that it wasn't for me, however, I did experience it before making that decision. The experience makes me really appreciate many of the things other Texans take for granted -- such as: Good tex mex Good BBQ Owning a car and the freedoms associated with it Spacious living conditions Low real estate prices Privacy Low taxes A favorable competitive environment for the well educated College and high school football and baseball (in NYC these are simply not part of the lifestyle, here they are huge) Hot women Common courtesy and manners Women who will subordinate themselves to their man I could go on and on.
There is no way you aren't a moderator just messing with our minds. Pretty funny T_J, good to see you have a sense of humor.
He broke his ankle this year, but that doesn't make him injury prone. Well, other than his junior year in high school where he was slowed down a bit, and he couldn't will us to the playoffs. I swear, he should have gone to OU. I think coming out of high school, he was the 75th ranked player in the nation according to rivals. Quote me or not, but that's what I can remember off the top of my head. hehe, he called you rocketfan95.
Agreed, good choice. I would add San Francisco to your list, and if you can handle the weather and have the oppotrunity, Seattle. And be careful. I thought that I would return to Austin in 5 years or so after graduating, and ended up taking almost 20 to get back here full time (my places to 'live at least once' over those years: Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Colorado, Hermosa Beach). I'd like to get a vacation home in the Rockies.
Right, right...case closed, etc... BTW, I've been meaning to ask...any connections in the admissions office? Selvin? Sounds about right. It's not really a question of talent with Selvin. The question is will he be able to return at full strength?
i just found out that the Rice/Google thread was locked, and that sucks. i called it when i said it would become a classic.
D*mn! Last time I ever ignore a thread w/ 2000 views, no matter how boring the title. I think I'll vote that the funniest thread ever ... and I have a new found respect for twhy77's humor... brilliant!
