Was just thinking that lol, oof... Josh Chistopher is also potentially a future good defender and KMJ is destroyer of giants....

yeah funny how we keep thinking offensive, but secretly are building some beast defensive studs around them.

    Christian Wood should be happy.

Hell yeah, and that's not even taking into account guys that may be gone like Olynyk who is also all hustle and defense... Should be an annoying team to play against.

It is just not a fair comparison. There is no way he can trash talk as much as Draymond. Nobody since Gary Payton can.

If we are going to get that crazy with comparisons, I want the team to buy him a pair of shades and teach him a 15 ft jumper, he is the second coming of Antoine Carr!

    I'll take him.

He can start alongside Wood or backup Garuba.

But Theis is not long term solution.

Garuba was good enough to make me watch a basketball game between Spain and Slovenia so there's that. I did fast forward to the parts he was in, though. He didn't do much, but he was active and seemed to rotate well. Had one or two blown defensive assignments but it's hard to tell how much of that is his fault or his team's. He had a tip for a rebound that didn't show on the box score (he did have a rebound early). I could have sworn he had a steal that is not in the box score. You can't tell much from 7 minutes in one game but I didn't see anything that bugged me. He never took a shot but it's not like he was ever open to take one.

    Early foul trouble.

    He's good but he's no Mobley. :D

Does that mean Sengun doesn't have to play against him?

I don't know what her vertical is; but I'm guessing she is good at steals

He scored 0 points, he's gonna be a long way away from being the next PJ Tucker unless his defense is truly legendary.

Tucker could play 47 mins and score 0 points.

Scoring 0 in a game makes him more like PJ, not less.

Garuba reminds me a bit of that ugly Russian dude that used to play for the Jazz a few years ago. The one that would come in for weakside blocks. I forgot the guy's name because I hate the Jazz and try to not think about them, but then again, that's the case with most smart people I know.
