It's not Aaron's fault. You know he only has 180 lbs.

One more freaking move is he put Yao and Artest in the same side to make that side even crowd. He tried to use Artest as a second passer to get Yao the ball, but the spacing is not there and Artest is way too slow to release the ball. Result: Yao often has to come out to set a screen after some wrestling.

We had a better defender in Alston, and we have a much stronger PG in Lowry.

Maybe if the gm wouldve signed elson, magloire, anderson or turiaf or drafted jordan instgead of wasting time on barry and dorsey, then maybe coach could give yao a breather. The give up was when yao got the ball and just passed it out.

    Yao Ming

    6 - 12

    10 rebounds

    6 blocks

12 shots, are you serious? ONLY GIVE HIM 12 SHOTS?
Artest takes 19 shots has 5 turnovers.

WE REALLY CANT WIN if YAO ONLY GETS 12 shots!....i dont get it, i just done, what happened to "I am a soldier/warrior and i am under Yao's army," great you are not using ur commander...wat the hell, anybody agree?

JVG's strategy: Use Yao as much as he can while he's fresh.

RA's strategy: Run Yao up and down the court to be a decoy.

Scola and Yao should have a bigger role on offense but the problem is they don't have the ball to start a play, a guard does. They depend on smart perimeter players.

It's head scratching how they continue to let the tempo get out of hand and don't go to the team's most efficient players. Too many times, it's been Helter Skelter with Yao and Scola running around not getting involved.

the main reason Yao ming gets fatigued is from trying to seal his man and going up and setting useless picks.

and sometimes when he finally gets into position, he either doesnt get the ball or passes it.

so basically he wasted all that energy for no reason

The problem is even worse considering Yao isn't even fronted or doubled that much.

    First option: Yao
    Second option: Scola

Artest needs to focus on defense like Battier. He is not efficient when the ball is in his hands; too much aimlessly dribbling around and chucking up bad, sometimes lucky, shots. Artest should be nothing more than a spot-up shooter.

exactly. the only time he was is when mbenga was guarding him, and mbegna was fouling him too...

I did not understand the point of Yao in the second half of third quarter and the 4th quarter. He was just in there, not getting the ball, just running up and down the court, that's just rediculous.

We'll get out of the first round like this, but when we play the Spurs or Lakers we will lose in 5 games.

Adelman needs to use Yao properly...

If that doesn't happen and we really want to stick with Adelman then try to trade for Bosh or Stoudamire. These are the big men Adelman drools over and he's using Yao much like these two guys and not like Yao should be used. I'm not saying i'd prefer these two over Yao, but Yao can't continued to be used like this.

Can any of you experts out there explain to me any sort of valid reason why RA brings Yao out to the high post????? I see this time and time again and everytime the play goes nowhere. It is a complete waste of time or a possession when this happens. I do not understand it. Someone PLEASE explain this to me.

Yao blocked 6 times tonight. He played hard. But got tired at the end because of the way he played under coach's gameplan

Remember there was a stretch of games some time back where Yao was dunking a lot? He hasn't been doing that much lately. There's too many soft shots around the basket. He's tired .... and we're still weeks away from the playoffs.
