... true, but it wouldn't hurt the recruiting battle for OU to get embarassed.

True enough, it might all balance out in the end.

Great Great game. Love to see OU get stuffed again in a bowl game. Gotta love it.

Also, it sounded like everyone booed Ashley Simpson after her song. I thought that was hilarious, that and the mic problems for clarkson.

yeah, for the next few days, people would say UT was better than we thought. we'd be ranked 4th and 5th in the polls and be happy, and then we'd get to live with another ou national title for years to come. put me down on the ou getting it's ass handed to it side of things. even last year when they lost to ksu and knocked us out of the bcs i couldn't help but be thrilled the entire time ksu was rolling them up. ou losing is always awesome. add on the recruiting angle and it's necessary, too.

and watch, next year with all our returning starters and ou losing so many, we'll finally beat them but still get a loss b/c we're playing the #2 team (at least according to corso and herbstreit) on the road the second week of the year. i'm starting to like scheduling that game less and less every time i look at it even if it is a great matchup and should be a great game.

I don't understand that type of logic at all. So, that would mean that the year Kansas State lost to Purdue in the Alamo Bowl (I think it was 1998), that all the other Big 12 teams in Bowl Games should have gotten beat such as Texas, but I don't think the Big 12 went winless in bowl games.

Just because Cal was pissed and couldn't get motivated to play a team like Texas Tech doesn't mean that EVERY team in the Pac-10 is terrible. Seriously, this USC team is one of the best single season college football teams I have ever seen - so many weapons on offense with Bush, Leinart, Steve Smith, etc and a relentless defense.

What this week has really showed is that the Big XII and OU are overrated.

    Somebody had to say it.

    Please don't hurt me.

    I'm joking, I swear.

I am just shocked by what happened last night. Watching the first half, I felt like I was watching a schoolboy get whupped by a bully. I never thought the University of Spoiled Children had that kind of an asswhupping in them. Kudos to Pete Carroll. He was a pathetic NFL coach but he has helped create something special down in South Central. I guess the us Horns and the Ags ought to be happy we don't have to play USC in Dallas every year, eh?

Lets get back to what is important.

Ashlee Simpson needs to go away, period.

That was the first time I'd ever seen her sing. The saaaaad part is the first two versus and choruses were lip-synked once again. THEN, during the brdge, she goes into improv Ashlee with lots of uhh. uhh. and crap. Then she has the audacity to sing the final chorus on her own... live. Her voice was so obviously bad when she was trying to sing it was pathetic.

This girl just needs to go away, period.

That was a little annoying. Plus, I though the USC band blew away the OU band. Much bigger sound. Huge sound.

    Yes, I'm still a band geek. ;)
