Ok, you're clearly lost on a couple of fronts. First, all opinions are not the same. Sports bettors are more informed than the general population, therefore their opinions matter much more. Secondly, upsets happen. I have stated that it is entirely possible that UT-Austin will win this game. ENTIRELY POSSIBLE. However, to do that, UT-Austin will have to play the game of their lives and USC-west will have to have a bad day. That is my position.

Please do and post a picture. I've bet against UT vs. the spread many times. Not since last year, though.

Well then America doesn't agree with you, as The Cat pointed out. Sportsbetters do.

Are you implying that you're unbiased?

You're just upset as a t-shirt fan of OU that you were completely embarassed after traveling to Miami to watch that debacle. Your obsession against UT-Austin is so laughable right now.

Thanks. Then I'll revise my post to state that informed people agree with me. To a lesser extent, America agrees with me, also, seeing that only 47% think UT-Austin will win.

Kansas is horrible, I guarantee the aggies would have beat them and will beat them next year. How is the program in shambles? They had a tough year this year. I have not bashed Texas, just Vince Young

how is that not clear to longhorn fans? i, a longhorn fan, clearly sees that according to the bookies in vegas we are the underdogs. i, as sports fan, knows that upsets happen. i, as an espn reader, sees that usc's team is favored...barely by the analysts and america...

what i dont understand is...why you cant see that UT had a bad game against a&m. never in my life have i seen fans celebrate a moral victory so much. so yall played the game of yall's life, and we played a crappy game. we won. we are 12-0. we are in the rose bowl. we get a shot at the title. sure, you can say we will lose, i dont mind. im not going to lie and say im not worried...but i know we have a shot to win.

how ironic...the year the aggies want to strut around with their moral victory is the yr they miss a bowl game and we are playing in the national championship. i like to thank yall for that game. it refocused the team.

Believe me, my trip to Miami was amazing. Riding in limos, staying at the nicest hotel in town, pimp seats to the national championship game, laying out on the beach, hitting up amazing nightclubs on South Beach, and seeing Shaq and Roy Williams (Cowboy) at the hotel really sucked.

The Aggies would've beat KU? Unlikely. This is the same Aggie team that needed OT to beat Baylor and was completely demolished at home against Iowa State, right?

How is the program in shambles? You just admitted that the students didn't show up the day after Thanksgiving because they want the coach to be fired. This is the same coach who they just hired two years ago. They could not even sell out the student allotment for a "rivalry" game. That's flat-out embarassing.

Not to mention, you just hired a defensive coordinator who has been out of football for a year after being fired from Western Michigan. The Big XII is scurred.

When did i say i was happy with a moral victory? All I have been arguing is that you are so delusional and ignorant. You just blow the aggie game off as we had a bad game because we were not prepared, we blew them off or some other excuse.

What makes sports betters more informed than the general espn.com population? From my experience, betters simply have more money to throw around. Also, is it your position that 2000 Florida State, 2003 Oklahoma and 2002 Miami were all better teams, and that their opponents in those games played "the game of their lives"? It isn't at all possible that their opponents beat them because they were better?

bigtexx is saying that UT is the underdog .. isnt he right? i know the guy is a complete joke but i dont know why youre trying to argue with him. im confident UT will win, but we're going into this game as the underdog

We will see what happens, they definitely have the talent to compete next year. I am confident they will be in a pretty good bowl game next year

OK, I'll say it. UT played horribly because A&M played their best game of the year. UT still won by 11, whoever you give the most credit to.

Because of the absolutely r****ded "UT will have to play the game of their lives while USC will have to play their worst game" argument.

I have yet to hear anyone outside of bigtexx say that.

I still want to know why bigtexxx is rooting against the Messiah. He's never explained that. :D

He's saying more than that. He's saying Texas has to play the game of their lives and USC has to play poorly for Texas to even have a chance. That's a huge, huge stretch.

how am i delusional and ignorant? i never said the aggies had a bad game. all im saying is, we have one bad game and you want to measure that to the rest of our season. now that is ignorant. what about us blowing out OU? they have been our hated rivals right now. killing colorado in the big XII? beating OSU in the horseshoe, where they NEVER LOST AT NIGHT and in front of 100,000+. last yr's rose bowl game? etc etc etc. i bet you anything texas probably brushed a&m off, and they were caught off guard. so what? they got focused and won the game. watching that game, i didnt think for a minute we will lose. it was just an annoying game to win.

No, he's already creating an "out" for himself if UT wins. UT can only win if they play the game of their life and USC flat out sucks. I think many of us disagree with that assessment. If they both play well, I think UT wins.

That and he believes all of America has the same opinion of UT being the underdog.

That's true .. but over embellishing everything is part of his character. How else would he come off as a complete douche?
