He's got a terrible throwing motion that I can guarantee the pros are gonna change once he gets to the NFL. He needs to work on those mechanics to make the transition smoother

Even The_Conquistador is celebrating tonight's victory! When you stop and think that almost all of Texas' players are products of Texas HS football (which I enjoy following), you can't help but root for them against a California team. On top of that, Vince is a Houstonian.

Vince is the most dominant college player I have ever seen. He is totally unstoppable, and does it in the clutch to boot. When you compare his effort to that of Leinart's and Bush's, how can anyone not say Vince is the #1 pick in the draft? Couple that with the fact that his hometown team is doing the drafting and what is left to think about?

The important play was the stupid lateral Bush attempted. Blew the game.

He isn't as precise as Matt Leinart at times, but he will be a damn good QB in the pros. Think Cunningham/bigger Michael Vick.

EXCUSE ME?!?!?! If I'm a Texas fan, just be grateful your team beat the "best team ever". I wouldn't go calling Leinart this or that.

Leinart has EVERY RIGHT to be pissed. He was MONEY! It's not his fault Reggie Bush did one of the stupidest things a player could do by coughing up the ball assuming his teammate would pick it up.

It's not his fault Young's knee was down.

It's not his fault his coach is a ****ing moron. Not only did Pete Carroll go for it, but he called timeout on the 2-pt conversion. WHAT WAS THAT?!?!

Leinart is the best pure QB in the country; he's going to be better than (Peyton) Manning. When you're that good, you're allowed to be pissed. You could see him on the sideline with his helmet half on with a look of disgust on his face, right before Young was about to score.

Yeah, what exactly did he say? I turned it off as he was saying "Texas High School Football players." If he was actually openly recruiting in that situation, that's kind of ****ty. I think Mac must recruit in his sleep.

Agreed. Heisman winner? They should take away his trophy after that play.

He might but it will take time. He can't expect his recievers to be able to find gaps in the zone and sit there waiting for the pass like in this game. NFL DB's are just too fast. He's gotta learn to lead his recievers better and get a bit more finesse.

I think he could learn and they can bring him along like the way the Steelers brought Kordell Stewart along. Have him play as an RB for awhile, line up next to the QB in shotgun formations where he can take direct snaps in trick plays, or even as a slot reciever.
