The knee play The knee play Just wanted to clear something up. Say teh play was reversed. Texas would atleast get a field goal. That is 3 points less. Then reverse the missed call on the interception. We picked it off, refs didnt call it. USC got 3 points off of it. Take away their 3 points, take 3 points from us. That makes it even, that play meant nada.
Leinart after the game: "I still think we're the better team, they just made the plays at the end." Bitter if I've ever seen it, which he probably shoud be. At least give them their props though...
Love ABC only talking about USC at the end there. Also loved classy Leinart saying he still thinks they are the better team.
That's just an amazing game. Texas may have got some breaks, but they did something with them. Vince Young truly is the football Jesus.

I don't think I've ever seen a single player carry their team like that. It had nothing to do with the UT coaches or anything...it was just all Vince's natural ability. I guess the O-line for UT did what they had to. USC didn't played bad, but my god did they play stupid. Delay of games, calling a timeout during the 2 point conversion (wtf?), then leinart waiting until time expired to throw the ball. They looked clueless at times.
Probably because we wont' be hearing from them for several years in the national title hunt, maybe even the BCS.
i dont know man but leinarts stock probably just plummeted in the draft and i bet you all SC fans will comment on the lateral play
I actully don't blame Carroll on that call. White had almost made it on the last play and he was looking almost unstopable. Carroll probably figured the punt would be too hard to get inside the 10 without a touchback and it would've ended being a 20 yard punt.
Did I understand him correctly? Did he say that Vince Young was the "best football player in college today"? If so, (even though it's a valid compliment) that's quite a slam to his own RB.

wow what a game from Vince Young. I disagree with what ABC says about him being the best scrambler ever in college history, that one goes to Michael Vick. Overall though, I htink Vince has a better combo of run and pass. amazing freakish ability to see the field.
I think Clutch is right but Vince Young was certainly the best football player in college today! Except he sounds like a cross between Damon Wayans and Mike Tyson..
