After seeing the SC band reminded me of how much I hate the Trojans. At Cal we used to throw fruit at the them when they played at Berkeley. I had repress the urge to chuck an orange at my TV. My bitterness over Mack Brown whining his way into last year's Rose Bowl is over. GIG EM HORNS!
The "Knee"...... If USC wins it will be in spite of the bad officiating. If Texas wins it will be because the bad officiating. Even if they win by more than one TD, that non call shifted the momentum. Anyway you slice it.....Texas loses.
hmmmm.....don't see what the Orange Bowl has to do with the Aggies. But I do dislike FSU. I'm a huge TCU fan, and am pissed that a #22 FSU team made it to the Orange Bowl. I'm excited about next season, with the new bowl and new bowl rules I am excited about what TCU can do. Oh...and I am an Aggie fan. But when they suck, I'll still root for them but I'll follow my other school more closely (TCU)....so I can enjoy the season.
Wow, there's something to be said about power naps....I dozed off during the halftime show and now I'm feeling a-ok!!! School bands are so boring, unless its Grambling v. Southern. Suddenly the over under of 69.5 isnt that insane.
Was it just me or was their performance really awful? Even taking into account that the mics could be picking up sound from different places, they were just not together. The sound was a mess. I blame it on the complicated and silly choreography - what's up with all the dance steps and pretending to fight each other? The UT band at least appeared respectable. (or am I missing something?)
Do you think Lendell White's performance might have Texan fans want to trade down and pick him up instead of taking Bush? I can hear the phone calls to 610 cranking up right now...
I know Keith Jackson is an icon and has been announcing college football since Bear Bryant was in junior high, but he's butchering this game.
