    The US really came to play today.

    Portugal's defense is shaky.

    Donovan and Beasley are players, I don't care that they're young, they're playing great.


    Of course, we haven't even reached the 20th minute, so I'll stop my effusive praise in hopes that I don't jinx them.

    I should be confident right? Gave up a bad goal
    and are hoofing the ball clear now. Let's go back to playing the way we did when we were up 3-0 please. Beasley is my motm so far.
    We've played very well, but Portugal have had huge holes in their defense. We can't continue this trend of hoofing the ball clear and letting Portugal ram it down our throats.

    Huge win. Much bigger than Colombia in '94, because that was on home soil.

    Absolutely huge.

    BTW - CONCACAF is 3-0 so far. Pretty nifty.
