Just came back from the game. Finally T&T beat USA in WCQ. I know, I know. The US didn't send the best squad but it still feels good after what they did to us in November, 1989. And to top it off Guatemala lost to Cuba! GO T&T!

Yeah you did. We needed at least a draw at home to qualify for the world cup. The country was already celebrating cuz we believed we were "on the road to Italy". We ended up losing 1-0 and the USA qualified for the first time in 40 years I believe. November 19th, 1989 has since gone down in infamy in the T&T football record books. Interestingly though, the two players who scored tonight, Yorke and Latapy were both on the squad then. I guess they really wanted exact revenge.
That sucks. But it looks like you guys are moving into the final round. Sweet. GO EEUU!!! How did the Three Colors do in qulifications for Italy 90? I kinda wanted Canada to move into the final round also.

They did have a few brief glimpses of good creativity which was a promising sign. Congrats to T&T though, they should be able to take care of Cuba and make it to the next round.
Yeah, if Canada makes it, so does Onstad and DeRosario. If by "three colors" you mean "Tricolores" and "MEXICO", we used overaged players in underaged tournaments, which FIFA cited for disqualification towards the major tournament. Mexico didn't play in the CONCACAF championship, as it was before the entire 1-4 round playoff they have now. Yeah, Mexico eff'd up with that one.
