    You wish.

Argentina's reserves are the one who got them back in the game. THeir offense was stagnant for the first five minutes Ginobili was in the game. Their backups like Gutierrez and Delfino were the ones who came in stepped up and hit outside jumpers and got them back in it. With Ginobili dominating the ball I doubt that happens.

We don't need Deke at backup Center, we can use Scola and Artest and still murder down in the post. I love Scola, why don't we use him the same way in the regular season.

Hmm well Spain vs USA is gonna be interesting. We are gonna need dominating guard play or the Gasol bros are gonna give us a hard time.

You're nuts for thinking Argentina is better off without Ginoboli. This game would've been much closer and exciting without a doubt had Gino played.

You're basing this off the first 5 minutes he played? I'd be willing to have wagered that he would've adjusted his game and figured out a different way to get himself going and or his teammates involved. That's what great players do... they make the necessary adjustments.

That's debatable. I think Manu is a great player and I'm far from a SamFisher anti-FIBA guy, but there's no way to tell how the game would have flowed...it's all needless conjecture anyways.

Next game should be interesting. IMO, Spain needs to play zone exclusively and pack it in big time, daring the following to shoot jumpers: Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, LeBron James, and Kobe (unless he gets hot) and Wade (ditto).

CP3 and JK are exclusive attackers (once Kidd missed his first shot after making his only 4 attempts the entire Olympics, he started to hesitate). LeBron is a deadlier attacker and creator than shooter. Spain needs to totally disrespect Kidd and Paul and not even challenge a pump fake or even half challenge.

For if the US gets the movement and passing going, then I don't think Spain would score enough points. Spain would have to shoot mad good from 3 to make it competitive if they cannot stop the Team USA ball movement.

Great players like Kobe and Lebron have a way of nullifying "Good" players on defense....

This is hoping that USA can hit their jumpers we have shot pretty poorly from 3pt land other than in the greece game.

He did play. Argentina did nothing. His replacements came in, the US went to sleep. Played better. Got Argentina back in the game. If he's dominating the ball trying to win it by himself how much does Scola score? Gutierrez? Does the US go to sleep on defense?

USA's game plan is alll about how to limit Manu. In fact, after Manu left, it seemed they don't know how to do!

Manu is my favorite player. But, I think with Manu, it would be a blow out game. I think Manu himself knew it.

I agree. It seemed that USA almost stopped trying for a while after Manu left because they knew the game was over.
