We may not able to get him anyway. It has to be a s&t and i cannot think of a way to do it. What quality bait do we have other than Tmac and Yao?

I'm sorry, but I can't give any credibility to anyone who thinks the sloth also known as Donyell Marshall can play shooting guard.

This says LA Fakers might be interested in Marshall.

"(LA) pursued Toronto Raptor forward Donyell Marshall last summer and might make another run at him. Marshall, who tied an NBA record with 12 three-pointers in a game last March, can score from the outside, rebound and block shots. An unrestricted free agent, he made $5.3 million last season." Like thacabbage said, he thinks Donyell Marshall can play SG. That's all that needs to be said about his credibility.

Just like 99% of sports writers out there, he knows nothing more about the situation than us fans do.

I think there is a very slim chance we get Marshall now that I've thought about it more. He's older than what we are looking for, and probably a bit on the expensive side for his age.

This says NY Knicks looking at several bigs including Swift: NYK have plenty of trading fodder to get Swift and they are an Eastern Conf. team.

"Thomas has targeted free-agent centers Stromile Swift, Kwame Brown, Eddy Curry, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Samuel Dalembert and Jerome James. Only James can be had assuredly for the $5 million mid-level exception. Thomas would likely need sign-and-trades for the others. Centers on the trading block are Jamaal Magloire and Rasho Nesterovic." New York Post
