To be fair, we're not very far from that abyss. We're at the observation deck overlooking the Grand Canyon, anyway. But things are looking better, and we have a really good shot at getting into the playoffs.

Guess I don't want that #14 pick in the draft after all.

McHale deserves credit but let's not go overboard, Rockets can still lose a few in a row and we would be again out of the playoffs last year. As a matter of fact, McHale is working with a much better group than Adelman last year who had a lesser version of Lowry, a crybaby in AB, no real center etc. It's much more a statement of the team than the coach.

its good to know that the national media has given some credit to Mchale and the rockets. ESPN will probably never give any praise to Mchale for being a coach of the year candidate, or to dragic for possibly being most improved player this season

It's a good thing they didn't need those superstars during the season, or else we would have lost those games.:rolleyes:

    What?

McHale has had a MUCH lesser version of Kevin Martin, NO Lowry (or Martin for that matter) for 17+ games, a lesser version of Luis Scola, and a crybaby in Terrence Williams.

I want that too. But not with a "Superstar" who is damanding trades when it's getting difficult instead of helping to build a contender. Look at Bosh or James. Even Wade would be out of Miami if they didn't sign Bosh and James.
