He'll join a team later in the season. He knows he doesn't have enough gas for 20+4.

    Interesting......

USA today is more credible than some of the other things that get posted here.

I think his comment was directed at Favre's credibility rather than USA Today's.

Yeah, you are correct. USA Today is legit.

    Favre....not so much.

    Same song, different verse.

Is this gonna be replacing the "Brett Favre to sign with the Vikings. Link coming" comments for when someone starts a repeating thread?

He has to start with "I'm not coming back" to maximize attention, if he starts by saying he is coming back, then goes to not coming back, before deciding to come back he gets criticism for selling his teammates up the river.

This gets him 24/7 ESPN coverage today and on the day he decides to come back.

Be ready for 1 hour "The Reversal" special.

I was not referring to his comment. I was simply making an observation of my own.

I highly doubt that a publication such as USA today would report some breaking news without confirming it with the actual source (Brett/Minny). Not to mention it says he will be making a public statement today and references Minnesota's local newspaper reports.

I would not put it past Brett to change his mind, although I don't think he is doing it for attention this time. He seems tired of having the same questions asked

If true, Green Bay's going to win that division easily. Though if he changes his mind, that might happen anyway.

Sage threw 6 picks at practice yesterday. I'm sure Viking fans are excited!

I hope he changes his mind...he was a nice pickup for me in fantasy leagues last year...especially since he was ranked so low nobody paid attention.

Helicopter Rosenfels isn't going to start and Taveras Jackson looked pretty good last year when he got a chance to play.

Just heard on local radio here that sources close to Favre say he isn't going to sign but the Vikes have yet to say anything.

I'm still saying that Brett Favre will sign with the Bears to get back at the Vikings and Green Bay. Next he will play a stint with Bills to get back at the Jets and he will finish his career playing with Tampa Bay to spite the Vikes, GB, Bears and the team that drafted him originally the Atlanta Falcons.

I was being tongue and cheek but if he wanted to get out of his contract with the Vikes he could retire and then unretire later. He could also just force a trade.

He probably will. I think this is just part of being the Drama Queen that Brett Favre has become.
