All I know is the people of Venezuela are dancing in the streets and China's foothold in South America became less. Our Oil companies built those plants and had an agreement before a dictator took over the country. With this said, I dont really like invading other countries, but capturing a leader that's been indicted isn't a bad thing. This is really no different than when we invaded Panama and brought Noriega to the USA to stand trial after he was indicted. That turned out well and I suspect this will too. how does it need more work? Most of our refineries that we have in the USA were built pre shale boom which cater to mostly heavy crude. Majority of the oil that we pump nowadays we ship to Asia to get refined into gasoline. The oil thats found in Venezuela is similar to that of Saudi which is heavy crude which is what our refineries are built for. What exactly have i said wrong?
