    • if a defender touches the ball with his hand or commits a foul inside the large area (excluding the semi-circle) near his goal, the attacking team gets a penalty kick
    • I forget the exact number, but I believe FIFA has lowered the substitutions to four per game, excluding the goalie
    • offsides: when a player of the team attacking team creates an unfair advantage by placing himself anywhere closer than the last defender to the goal at the moment the ball is played to him
    • at the referee's discretion, time will be added after the regular time of 45 minutes in the half to make up for lost "injury" time. The fourth referee (by the benches) will display the time only after 45 minutes.
    Dude. That just reminded me. I think that game of the locker room and the noise was against Mexico, but I must check again... if I can find the video, I will post it here... I saw it on a news channel following the U.S. I think they were chanting "si se puede" or some other crap like so...

    It's three substitutions, including the goalie. If someone is injured, and you've already have your three subs, tough luck. Either he plays injured, or you play with 10 men.
