US launches world's (current) largest rocket

    It must be crazy to fly one of these things -- I can only imagine what the pilot was thinking at this point -- the ship looks like something out of Star Wars...link

    That rocket is unmanned, it is used to launch satellite only so far.
    It's much smaller than the Saturn V of 40 yrs ago any how.

    Thinking about some candid behind the scenes tapes I've heard of him, maybe not that huge a difference at the end of the day.

    They have been flying for almost a decade. That one had a reconnaissance satellite the size and power of the Hubble space telescope but pointed at earth.

    We did have an actual heavy lift rocket (10 times the size of that one) planned to build but Obama cancelled it in 2010.

    At approximately 1:30 into the video you can see the pilot open dual hyperspace gates -- the first one is small -- the ship flies into the second larger portal to enter hyperspace.
