israel is probably only second to china when it comes to spying on us and stealing military technology. im sick of the israeli butt-kissing and their influence on our government...our relationship with them does far more harm than good. israel was also caught blowing up a united states navy patrol ship and machine gunning our sailors while they were stranded in the water during the 1967 war...but they said it was an "accident" so its ok. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Liberty_incident
Boehner is "baffled" at the reports. He is either very naive or lying. http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2015/03/24/world/middleeast/ap-ml-israel-us.html?_r=0
Have you no pride for the U.S. at all? Why are you in favor of letting another nation spy on the United States. Not only do you seem to be okay with it, you get upset when the U.S. protests about other nations spying on them. I find it remarkable that you wish our nation to be a doormat. Please get a little bit of backbone at least.
Uh, oh. Apparently the French have been providing information on the talks to Israel. It now appears that Obama's peevish conduct here may have been not only immature, but also premature. Now who needs to apologize?
As you know very well, if there was any spying, it was on the nuclear talks and not on us. And the "leaked" information was provided to the US Congress, which is as fundamentally American as any in the world, bar none, and which is also cleared to receive classified information such as this. Barack Obama is not the United States, by the way. He is just one person, serving in an office for a limited period of time. This is, once again, not all about him. Try to get a grip on that inconvenient truth, if you can.
You have to realize that there's nothing more satisfying for a neocon than ripping Obama a new one while slob knobbing Netanyahu. MojoMan, just make sure to wipe off your screen and keyboard after you're done.
It was the talks they were spying on? That's silly. If we are in the talks then they are at least spying in part on us. At the beginning of this thread you were sure they were spying and didn't understand how they could not be. Now you are changing your tune? Obama is not the U.S. but he is the leader of the U.S. and represents the U.S. in diplomatic matters. I'm not sure why that's an inconvenient truth.
The Israelis spy on sensitive nuclear talks and leak that information to the US Congress to thwart the President of the United States and you're all good with that? Are you sick? No wonder Boehner is playing dumb, it seems as if the leak by the Israelis and the invitation by Boehner to speak before Congress were all part of the same plan. Disgusting, just sickening garbage.
Apologize for what...??? Once those Arab nations take out ISIS... All of their eyes will be on Israel and Israel knows France won't do shyt but sit on their hands (just like they did when the US invaded Iraq). Obama knew what he was doing when he didn't go to France after the terrorist attacks there. F them too.
Can Netanyahu run for president while holding his current job? I get the feeling he polls very well with certain demographics.
I have no problem if the Israelis did spy on these nuclear talks. In fact, it would be irresponsible for them not to spy on them. And regardless of what they say, I believe that they are spying on these talks, to the best of their ability. However, if the information used to inform our Congress was not obtained from their spying, as it now appears may be the case, I apologize for wrongly suggesting that it did. Barack Obama should now man-up and do the same.
So you are still under the delusion that this is all about Barack Obama. It isn't. The goal here is not to thwart the President of the United States, the goal is to undermine a bad nuclear weapons deal that would enable the proliferation of nuclear weapons by Iran and its terrorist network. Obama needs to get over himself and you need to get over him too. Everything is not all about Barack Obama, and his sensitive little ego is not more important than the substance of these issues.
This is my feeling on the Iran negotiations, and Obamacare too and generally everything in governance: some strategies and objectives may be better than others, but successful execution of a strategy is more important than having the exact right strategy. Maybe rapprochement with Iran isn't as good as continued animosity, but successful rapprochement is probably still better than failed rapprochement. Likewise, Obamacare may not be perfect legislation, but we'll all be better off if it works than if it fails. So, this is where I consistently have trouble with Republican obstructionism. Casting your no-votes is all fine and good, and maybe even wise. But once we're set on doing it anyway, you should try your damnedest to make sure the country succeeds at what it's doing, and not trying to undercut its efforts at every turn to ensure failure.
Yeah it's about our country. It's about a foreign government undermining the government of the United States and you sucking it up because of politics. You're so full of hatred that you don't even know why it's detrimental to our entire system of government. You've lost it. It's embarrassing.
Hahahaha! So, the Israelis undermined the US government by passing information to - wait for it - the US government! Unbelievable.
