    Im only halfway thru this thread so I dont thow how updated yall are, but things are coming along and I am currently waiting for the paperwork to clear to get me out of ICU and into the hospital proper.

    The response has been ovewhelming...Im man enough to admit I have tears streaming down my face halfway thru. I Have always said that what made this forum special were the people, and you guys prover it yet again.

    This is the first day I have had access to a laptop and I still have monitoring crap on my fingers on my right hand adn a slightly swollen left hand, and jsut reading half this thread is getting me tired, so Im gonna make this short.

    Had to have the ascending aorta replaced with a synthetic (hey Deck, Im on my way to being DrRoyBatty for reals ;) ) and am now recovering. It was just three days ago I was so drugged up I had no idea where I was at...and now they are moving me to a transitional room instead of the tightly restricted ICU.

    Will fill in as I can, but Im sure you googlebots will have the details in no time
