Hospital update: Larry slept better last night and is eating a bit more each day.

I sent something your way as well via the PayPal link. Can you write a quick update? All I can gather from several posts is that he had emergency heart surgery and things are looking up. Is this correct? What kind of surgery did he have?

I agree 100%, but I'd still say you're deserving. Rep is silly, in a word, but it offers us the chance to acknowledge your character both as a friend to R2K and as a member here.

Organizing efforts to help our fellow man and fellow ClutchFan is no simple feat, so I offer well wishes and help where I can to R2K and his family, and my thanks to you and Clutch for making sure the rest of us are informed and able to help out.

Thanks Moes and Clutch for setting all of this up. I always have a good bit of faith in the collective good will of Clutch Fans. It's heart-warming to see everybody stepping up.

I also wanted to encourage people who are concerned for R2K to get out and donate blood. I'm a slacker compared to my parents who have the bajillion gallons donated mugs, but I do try to get out when I can to donate. It's such an easy thing to do, but it's also as easy to push to the periphery and forget. I'm sure R2K needed quite a bit of blood during this surgery, and let's all try to remember that there are many, many other people out there that have the same needs. They all have friends, families, and co-workers. Although maybe not a legion of ClutchFans behind them.

And if you want to contribute to a cause that is dear to R2K, make sure you're not a leach. Seed those torrents, especially when R2K starts putting up Rocket games again, and I'm sure that will happen in the future. You can lay a good man up, but you can't keep him down. Unless you're a leach and stop seeding the second the game downloads.

 

It's great news that Larry is doing better. As a Rockets fan overseas, he was my lifeline for years and years. R2K is also one of the coolest people anywhere. I appreciate what Moes, Clutch and everybody have done to help out Larry and his family. That's awesome!

So sad to hear about this, R2K. I am pulling for you, man. I hope you are doing better and the prognosis is great. I'm sending a donation your way via the fund...as I feel a duty to help out a fellow Rush and Clutch fan. Hopefully, you are back to full strength by the Rush concert and can still go. But, for now, just know you've got a compassion cloud of good vibers and well-wishers hovering over the hospital while pulling for you and your full recovery.
