If you can't sup-PORT IT you shouldn't PORK IT Amazing how the same guys and girls have the same problem over and over and over etc...etc....etc It's nothing but an excuse as to why you don't take care of your own. You don't want to do it but you want the rest of the world to support it.
A lesson learned. No matter how rich you are, sleeping around and popping babies are never affordable.
Setting the whole morality of abortion debate aside, was she ever actually pregnant? Did she actually have an abortion? If all this is based on a Real World episode, I'd say it never happened.
I hear you as I pay child support, however, the problem is, the money we tend to give doesn't go to support the child...In reality, only some of the money goes for direct support of the child, because, in fact we are supporting our ex's as well, and at times, they are not the best people to manage money... Your example above about your ex is a prime example woman are never satisfied...
okay...that makes total sense. because she had an abortion, her husband, who has a legal and moral obligation, shouldn't have to pay to help support his childen.
absolutely correct. why can't the courts figure out approximately how much it takes to take care of a child on a monthly basis, taking the child's age into consideration, then charge the father that amount? taking a flat % of the father's income without taking into account what the mother is making or what her new husband is making to support themselves (and the child) hardly seems fair to me. the general response that i have heard is that you are charged that flat % because (in theory) that is the % of your income that you would spend on the child if you were the custodial parent. that's a load of crap if you ask me. if i'm making $1MM, that doesn't mean i would be spending the same % as if i were making $40K. a baby doesn't need designer diapers, you know? that said, if a father wants to send over the amount for different reasons (ballet shoes, etc.) that is his perogative. just don't tell me it takes $1000 per month to take care of a 8 month old child. i'm highjacking this thread, so let me get off my soapbox...
This is where your wrong, ITS YOUR KID, YOU SUPPORT IT. Why should someone else have to support your kid, its not his ITS YOURS. YOU PORKED IT, YOU SUPPORT IT. Don't want to support your kids, don't have any to begin with.
Yeah that was real as far as I know, she's spoken about it after the fact, she was on the 2nd season of the show, way before it became the massive pork fest it is now, back then they actually tried to show some real life situations
I'm going to Passenger 57 your highjaking self. Kenny Anderson is probably a good dad, but just a horrible accountant. anyone who makes 60mill and is broke has problems.
I propose a Vernon Maxwell law: If your ex-wife is a beatch you dont have to pay child support If you won a championship for the Rockets (only the Rockets) you dont have to pay child support if you are broke, you dont have to play child support
I think men should pay child support, but there should be a limit on it. When it gets to a point of "baby momma" support, then it makes no sense (see the amounts that entertainers pay). If a rich man is forced to pay an insane amount of child support, at least the courts should make sure the excess goes to a trust fund or something, and not to get mom's nails done.
Soon as Kidd teams up with Jim Jackson and Mashburn its the next Run TMC, you all watch out Soapbox beliefs out the way: Make some kinda of child support money card (like a food stamp card in a way) thats in the kids name ONLY. And it can track what items are being charged on it, And it can only be used in certain stores and items (heard that idea on a radio show). And the "Maxwell Law", that's the way to go Okay get back to Kenny Anderson, NEVER ever should there be bankrupcty for him. That's just SAD. Each consecutive year his 1st 12 years he got a sizeable increase in pay each year and still found a way to blow it. Its astonishing really... people making 28,000 a year dont file for bankrupcty, what's this terd doing? After the first time, Kenny repeated the same thing over again and with different women. Obviously demonstrating no good judgement and brought it upon himself. Of course she's gonna see him spending time with all these others and wonder why he's got time and money for them but not for her...He should be sending at least minimal something over in hise case...and I do feel bad for dads who have to go through the ordeal paying more than they should. Not at all for Kenny though, whatta joke.
