Thanks a bunch for the offer but I'll be driving in from Austin and carpooling with a couple people scattered around Houston!

Yeah, I'll just wear a red shirt to stick with the group. If Stacks bar is within walking distance of the Toyota Center I'll be there before the game. I definitely cannot drive between a bar and the Toyota Center with the amount of pre-gaming I intend to do.

What kind of drink specials can we expect at Stacks? And of course I'll have to plan enough time to accomidate my drunk munchies.

Sorta. You can park by Stacks and walk to Toyota if you want. about 10-15 min walk. Or you can hop on the rail which makes it a <5 min walk. But you usually have to wait on the train 5-10 minutes unless you get lucky and it is right there when you are ready. End result is about the same. $1 for the train.

Stack usually gives us a discount but I forgot exactly what. I think it used to be like 25% off your tab but I might be wrong.

I spoke with Brian @ the Rockets just now & he mentioned that our Clutchfans total ticket count is up to about 45 folks as of this afternoon. 45 & growing...

Cool, thanks for the info guys. I'll bet the discount (if he's even offering it. lots of folks gonna be there) would only be for the food, but no matter. I checked out his menu and drink specials online and they're very good as is.

Hmm I think I'll go with a couple pitchers and a wrap (gotta watch my boyish figure).

Sooo, we gonna do nametags? I doubt we'll be the only people wearing red.

I'm sure Stack would be willing to set aside an area for us all to gather at.

And those are some great ideas Rasselas, that's what this group is all about, doing whatever we can to support the team.

So where do we stand now with everything? I am confused on our "Dawg Pound" final gameplan...

Anyways, I feel safe in saying this is going to be by far the greatest day ever in the history of sports fanaticism.

I'm not sure. I'd like to know too. Did we decide to try to meet up or not?

    How's this sound:

    1. As many as possible, show up to Live for pre-partying 5:30-7:00 and then head over to the game (7:35 tipoff).

    2. Wear red shirts

    3. Bring red or white waving towels and red face paint if you can.

    4. Plan on standing during the game

    5. Look to initiate pro-Rocket chants and the wave (which will die in the corporate seats every time) often

    6. Drink, be loud, be loose, but don't be a drunk loser!

The only thing you guys should not do is the wave.
Otherwise, chant and yell your arses off.

Can't make it over to Live sport because we are taking a shuttle from our hotel in Downtown

Red shirts, if you don't have a jersey. I'll be in my T-mac jersey (Shooting shirt before the game), so will my wife.

    Double check on #6 :D

Excellent, if any of the more creative posters can come up with some good chants for us that would be great (especially for when the opponent shoots free throws).

I like it and about the drunk loser part- try not to be obnoxious or rude to others cuz that sometimes happens w/ drunk dudes cheering when someone asks if they can quiet it down or sit down. Im not sayin yall should give in to people's requests to calm down (you shouldnt! Be Loud!), but try to get others involved and dont give them something to complain about that can end the Rocket Rowdies. Just a thing to keep in mind. HAVE FUNN and BE LOUD!!! :) wish I could come.

Look for the metered parking around TC, after 6pm it's free to park there
