I don't necessary think the Rockets have to have a scoring threat down low. I would rather have a banger that scores a ton, but resonably speaking, I think if they could just find someone of the mindset (oncourt) that Rodman had, or maybe OT, or Willis they would really be fine. Find the guy that rebounds...rebounds...and rebounds. A guy that doesn't require to have the ball in his hands everytime down the court. We have 3 guys on the floor that can do that already. Aaaaahhhhhhhh screw it, lets get Webber! Reef wouldn't be too bad either

Wow- I sure wouldn't mind taking a run at Ruben Patterson. I really like what Patterson brings to the table. He'd be a great 6th man or starting SF for us-- good defender, ton of energy, loads of athletism. He has an improving jump shot, and is a great post up player. Very few players in the NBA can stop him 1 on 1. He also has a very good attitude and gives 110% every day. Boy could we use Ruben.

I'm not to sure about Jackson at center either, but he'd be better than what we've got. Of course we want to get Mo and Shandon back or sign Webber(one or the other). But if we did end up with some leftover cap space and still needed help at SF and C, get:

    SF Ruben Patterson
    F/C Otis Thorpe

OT would be great help, although he's having trouble lately staying off the IR. He might be a steal if we could sign him for the veterans minimum.

We could always replace Olajuwon with Ewing at the conclusion of the season. [IMG]

I can't believe the Suns were that stupid to offer Penny and Cliff for Dream. Penny is out but he can do alot of damage when he is healthy.

I'm not a capologist, but I know some of you guys are, or at least claim to be. My question is this:

If we trade Dream and Los for SAR and Reeves, what kind of cap do we have left? Bullard, Mooch, Shandon, and Mo are free agents. If we do this trade, who can we sign? Can we sign any of these guys? I don't like the deal, but I am curious to know what this deal costs us?

What about John Amaechi? Throw a couple million at him...He's pretty decent, and could be a nice pickup at center with a smaller price tag.
